Terms and Conditions

  1. General
  1. By booking an appointment with Hoss Photography you are subject to these full terms and conditions.
  2. Hoss Photography reserves the right to amend, vary or cancel these terms and conditions at any time.
  3. Your data may be used by Hoss Photography to advise you of products, services, and special promotions. We may contact you by post, SMS text, telephone or email.
  4. If any of these terms and conditions are held by any court of competent authority to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, in whole or part this will not affect the validity of the remaining terms and conditions which will continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
  5. Any person who is not a party to these terms and conditions shall have no right under the Contracts (rights third party) Act 1999 to enforce any of these terms and conditions, but this shall not affect any right or remedy of a third party which exists or is available apart from that Act.

  1. Money Back Guarantee
  1. We want you to love your portraits. If you aren’t completely happy with the images at your viewing, we will either re-shoot your session or refund you any monies paid.
  1. Booking Deposit
  1. All appointments require a £25 deposit. This will be credited to your order or refunded at your preview appointment, providing you keep to both the photographic and viewing appointments. If you fail to turn up for an appointment, we reserve the right to retain all monies paid and cancel all voucher benefits. If you cancel within three days of an appointment, a £25 fee will be charged.
  1. Portrait Session
  1. All portrait sessions are strictly by appointment.
  2. Photoshoots take approximately one hour, followed immediately by your viewing session.
  3. Please arrive on time. If you arrive late, your session cannot be guaranteed. In such cases, we reserve the right to offer either a shortened session or to cancel the appointment altogether. In the event of cancellation, a no show charge of £25 would apply.
  1. Makeover and Boudoir Sessions
  1. All makeover and boudoir session are strictly by appointment.
  2. Sessions are for one person only.
  3. Photoshoots take between one to two hours.
  4. Your images will be prepared for your viewing session which will take place approximately one week later.
  5. Please arrive on time. If you arrive late, your session cannot be guaranteed. In such cases, we reserve the right to offer either a shortened session or to cancel the appointment altogether. In the event of cancellation, a no show charge of £69 would apply.
  6. Hair will be dry styled.
  1. Gift Vouchers
  1. Hoss Photography Gift Vouchers represent a promotional offer.
  2. Hoss Photography reserves the right to amend, vary or cancel any promotional offer at any time.
  3. Gift Vouchers have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  4. Gift Vouchers may not be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion.
  5. Only one Gift Voucher may be used per family/client.
  6. The print value (excluding the session fee value) may be used against the cost of a larger framed or digital product. 
  1. Gift Cards
  1. Hoss Photography Gift Cards come in denominations of £25 and may be purchased singly or in multiples of £25.
  2. Hoss Photography Gift Cards can be redeemed as part or full payment for Hoss Photography products or services.
  3. Gift Cards may be purchased on their own, or in conjunction with a Gift Voucher to go towards purchasing extra products.
  4. No change or cash can be given, but any remaining balance can be applied to future purchases from the same client.
  5. Remaining balances are non-transferable.
  6. Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash.
  7. Gift Cards may be used by the purchaser of the Gift Card, or it may be given to another person as a gift.
  1. Terms of Sale
  1. Due to the nature of our service, all orders are non-cancellable, and any remaining balance on the order is due in full.
  2. Goods are not supplied on a sale or return, consignment, or approval basis.  This does not affect your statutory rights.
  3. We immediately place your order with our suppliers.  Therefore any changes (i.e., frame, image or mount) will be subject to any costs levied to us by our suppliers.
  4. All goods remain the property of Hoss Photography until paid for in full.
  5. If the customer defaults on any agreed payment, Hoss Photography reserves the right to debit the customer’s credit/debit card for the full remaining balance, plus any additional charges levied by the bank.
  6. Hoss Photography has the right to charge 8% above the Bank of England rate where payments are late for an unreasonable period.
  7. Hoss Photography will make every effort to reach an amicable agreement with any client who is in genuine financial difficulty, and unable to complete a payment plan as originally agreed.  However, Hoss photography will take legal action against any client who refuses to communicate or attempt to reach an amicable solution.
  8. Copyright of all images remains the property of Hoss Photography. Reproduction of any image by any means whatsoever, without express permission, is strictly prohibited and is a criminal offence under the 1988 Copyrights and Patents Act.
  9. The client grants all necessary permission to allow Hoss Photography the use of any images created from the session for the purpose of displays, exhibitions, advertising, and competitions.
  10. All images will be reproduced as seen at your viewing session. Any changes will only be made if specified on your order.
  11. We take all reasonable efforts to protect your images. However, our liability for loss or damage of any image is accordingly limited to re-photographing.
  12. While delivery dates will be adhered to as much as possible; they do not constitute part of the contract.
  13. All work must be collected from the studio by the client.  The client is advised to inspect and approve the order before removal from the premises. Hoss Photography cannot accept responsibility for any damage or loss once the order has left the premises.
  14. In the event of unsatisfactory work, all products should be returned complete with packaging and the appropriate invoice, within three days of collection.
  15. Every effort will be made to fulfill all orders placed with Hoss Photography. However, in the cases of an act of God, War, Strikes, Fire, or any cause beyond our control, completion of orders is subject to variation or cancellation.
